Palak Paneer


Ingredients
  • Fresh chopped spinach Spinach 4 cups
  • 15 to 20 pieces paneer cube in about half inch.
  • Onion 2 [Chopped]
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed (jeera)
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Green chillies 2 [Chopped]
  • Cream 1 tbsp.
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
Method
  • Blanch the spinach, blend it to a smooth paste and keep aside.
  • Deep fry all the paneer cubes on medium high heat just for few minutes so paneer become very light gold in color, take paneer out on paper towel and keep aside.
  • Heat the ghee in a saucepan ....add cumin seed ,ginger garlic paste, chopped onions and green chillies and the onions turn brown, add garam masala ,turmeric powder and then tomato puree and let it cook for a few minutes until the tomato puree is about half in volume.
  • then add red chilli and salt and mix well, add the spinach paste and cook for 10 mins.
  • add cream and paneer cube and let this cook another 4-5 minutes.
  • palak paneer is ready to serve now you can eat with chapati....yammmmiiiii...mere muhh me to pani aa gaya...lets try this weekend.

Moong Dal Pakoras


Moong Dal Pakoras

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup without skin wash moong dal
  • 1 cup mashed boiled potatoes
  • 2 tablespoon chopped hara dhania
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 3-4 chopped green chili adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
  • A pinch of asafetida (hing)
  • Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Oil to fry

Method
First of all Wash dal and soak in about 3 cups of water for 4-5 hours, after that Grind dal
coarsely using very little water.Add all the ingredients to the dal (chopped onions,green
chilies,coriander leaves,turmeric,salt,hing and baking soda).
mix well the batter for 2-3 minutes.
this will make the batter light. Add the water if needed, batter should be soft. If batter is too
thick Vadas will be hard .....now your batter is ready.

Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium high heat.The frying pan should have about 1 inch of oil. Fry the pakoda in small batches until golden-brown all
around then take it out from oil ...Moong Dal Vada should be crispy from outside and from soft inside.Now your pakoras are ready to be serve.

Serve them spicy delicious snack crispy moong dal pakora with Hari dhaniya ki Chutney or yammy Tomato Sauce.
